DOWNLOADING
AN IMAGE:
Saving
an image to your PC for later use on your pages or your email. Make sure you have a folder in your "My Documents" folder called GRAPHICS. Right click on the
image you like, choose "save image as", then choose "save". Then save it in your GRAPHICS folder.
The image will now be on your GRAPHICS folder in your hard drive.

FOR INSERTING A BACKGROUND IN YOUR EMAIL:
In preparing your new your Email, click NEW MESSAGE. On your tool bar click FORMAT, then click BACKGROUND, select PICTURE, then browse your computer for your "My Documents", then GRAPHICS. Now select the background of your choice, click OPEN, then click OK. Your background should be on your email page. You can do the same process for inerting a clip art or even a sound.

UNZIPPING
A FONT FOR USE:
You
will need a program to unzip the file such as WinZip or PKWARE, which you can
find anywhere on the web. While unzipping, extract to WINDOWS/FONTS,
then go to the WINDOWS folder in EXPLORER or FILE MANAGER and double
click on FONTS. You will then see the font listed which means that
you can now use the font in any program on your PC.
*Then
follow the instruction offered to you by your provider or host to
upload the images, etc. to your pages.
*Remember
to always check the TERMS OF USE on any site, for anything you
download, don't want to infringe on a copyright do you? The author
may take legal action if you do.
